Milos Taverna brings the honest, unhurried spirit of a Greek island taverna to Cow Hollow. Fresh food, shared plates, and a table that's always open.
The Island of Milos
On the Greek island of Milos, food isn't an event — it's just part of the day. Meals are simple, fresh, and meant to be shared, and that's the idea this restaurant is built on.
Landing in Cow Hollow
We opened on Union Street as a sister restaurant to Milos Meze, bringing that same taverna spirit to one of San Francisco's most walkable neighborhoods. The space is Aegean blue and white — familiar the moment you walk in.
Everything From Scratch
The kitchen makes everything fresh — tzatziki, spanakopita, hummus, the Greek salad piled with a thick slab of feta. Nothing here comes from a bag or a freezer.
A Menu Worth Exploring
From grilled octopus and lamb chops to vegetarian moussaka and whole sea bass, the menu runs deeper than most. There's always something worth ordering for the first time.
Your Table Is Ready
Whether it's a quick weeknight dinner or a long Friday with friends, the vibe stays the same — relaxed, welcoming, and never rushed. The staff knows the regulars, and they'll know you too.
